Seal Rite Bulk Sealcoat Storage Tanks (2,000–10,000 Gallon Systems)
The Seal Rite Bulk Sealcoat Storage Tanks are industrial-grade material storage and agitation systems engineered for contractors, municipalities, and facilities that require high-volume sealcoat storage with reliable material conditioning and controlled transfer. Designed for stationary bulk storage applications, these systems support efficient staging, blending, and feeding of sealcoat material to active production units.
Available in capacities ranging from 2,000 to 10,000 gallons, these bulk tanks are built to handle the demands of large operations where consistent material quality, easy cleanout, and long-term durability are critical. Each unit is engineered around heavy steel construction, hydraulic agitation, and professional plumbing components to ensure dependable performance season after season.
Heavy-Duty Steel Tank Construction (Capacity-Specific)
Each bulk storage tank is fabricated from heavy steel plate to withstand the weight, abrasion, and long-term exposure associated with sealcoat storage.
2,000 Gallon Tanks
Constructed with 7-gauge steel heads and 10-gauge steel sidewalls, providing robust durability for mid-scale bulk storage applications.4,000–10,000 Gallon Tanks
Built with 1/4” steel heads and sidewalls, delivering maximum structural strength for high-volume, long-term material storage.
All tanks are primed and painted for corrosion resistance and feature reinforced tank ends with 1/4” thick steel plate, adding rigidity and extending service life under continuous use.
Hydraulic Agitation System for Material Consistency
Maintaining consistent sealcoat quality in bulk storage requires controlled agitation. These tanks are equipped with a hydraulic agitation system designed to keep material evenly blended throughout the tank.
4” agitation shaft for heavy-duty operation
Infinitely variable speed control
Forward and reverse agitation for improved blending
Full sweep 4-paddle agitation system
Each paddle is fitted with 3/8” thick rubber wiper blades that contact the tank sidewalls, helping prevent material buildup, reduce waste, and support consistent viscosity across the entire tank volume.
Pump, Plumbing, and Transfer Capability
Bulk storage tanks are equipped to support controlled material transfer to Seal-Rite production units or other compatible systems.
3” Roper pump for material movement
Note: Gear pumps are not designed to run sand3-gallon, 3” filter pot assembly to protect downstream equipment
3” plumbing with 2” male adapters for easy connection to Seal-Rite filling systems
Power options include electric-start gasoline motors or 10 HP electric motors, allowing facilities to configure the system based on available power and operational requirements.
Manways, Cleanout, and Operator Safety Features
Access and cleanout are essential for bulk storage systems. These tanks include multiple service points designed to reduce downtime and simplify maintenance.
20” × 10” combination 1-bolt airtight manway located on the pump end of the tank
24” diameter × 1/4” thick steel bolted manhole below fluid level for efficient cleanout
Expanded metal surfaces on the sprocket chain guard and top front end of the tank for improved traction during service and inspection
These features allow crews to safely access internal components while minimizing maintenance time between production cycles.
Designed for Large-Scale Sealcoat Operations
These bulk storage tanks are ideal for operations that require staged material storage, centralized mixing, and reliable feed to multiple crews or production units. From municipal yards to contractor depots and high-volume sealcoat suppliers, the system is designed to scale with demand while maintaining consistent material quality.

FAQ
Are these tanks designed to run sanded sealcoat?
The hydraulic agitation system can handle heavy material, but the standard 3” Roper gear pump is not designed to run sand. An optional Wilden air-operated pump is available for sanded applications.
Can these tanks feed Seal-Rite production units?
Yes. The plumbing and adapters are designed for easy hookup to compatible Seal-Rite equipment.
Is this a stationary system?
Yes. These bulk tanks are intended for stationary storage and material staging applications.
Why This Works Anywhere in the USA
Bulk sealcoat storage systems must perform reliably across varying climates and production schedules. From hot southern environments to freeze-thaw northern regions, heavy steel construction, hydraulic agitation, and industrial-grade components help maintain consistent material quality regardless of location or season.
Use Case Example
A contractor operating multiple sealcoating crews installs an 8,000-gallon bulk storage tank at their yard. Material is blended continuously using hydraulic agitation and transferred daily to production units, reducing downtime and improving jobsite efficiency throughout the season.
Differentiation
Unlike small portable tanks, these bulk storage systems are purpose-built for large-scale operations. Reinforced steel construction, hydraulic agitation, and multiple service access points make them a long-term infrastructure investment for professional sealcoat operations.
