Fast Curing Protection for Pavements That Can’t Wait
Deery Super Stretch is a premium, fast-curing, hot-applied crack and joint sealant designed for contractors who need speed without sacrificing performance. Often considered Deery’s best all-around sealant, Super Stretch combines high-quality synthetic elastomers, polymers, and antioxidants with select asphalt plasticizers to deliver exceptional flexibility, waterproofing, and durability.
This single-component, solvent-free sealant melts quickly, flows easily into cracks, and cures fast enough to return pavements to traffic in as little as 30 minutes. It’s a go-to choice for roads, airports, and parking areas where downtime matters and performance expectations are high.
Key benefits at a glance:
Fast curing with non-tracking performance in 30 minutes or less
Extremely high flexibility, stretching up to 1000 percent without failure
Proven low-temperature performance down to -20 °F
Low-viscosity flow for excellent crack penetration and clean installs
Zero VOC, solvent-free formulation
Think of Super Stretch like a high-performance bungee cord for pavement cracks. It stretches far, snaps back into place, and keeps sealing even as the pavement moves under traffic and temperature swings.
When productivity, reliability, and professional results all matter, Deery Super Stretch delivers long-term value with minimal disruption.
What Is Deery Super Stretch and Why Contractors Prefer It
Deery Super Stretch is a hot-applied, elastically modified crack and joint sealant engineered for high-performance pavement preservation. Its unique formulation balances fast melting, low viscosity, and above-average high- and low-temperature properties, making it a favorite among experienced applicators.
This sealant is well suited for:
High-traffic roadways
Airport runways and taxiways
Commercial and municipal parking lots
Asphalt and concrete pavements with active crack movement
Because Super Stretch cures quickly and resists tracking, it’s especially useful on projects where lane closures or access restrictions must be minimized.
How to Use Deery Super Stretch – Step by Step
Surface preparation
Cracks and joints must be clean and dry. Remove dirt, debris, vegetation, and moisture. Pavement temperature must be at least 40 °F at the time of application. In cooler conditions, warming with a hot air lance is recommended.Heating
Heat Super Stretch in an approved direct-fire or hot-oil jacketed melter equipped with constant mechanical agitation and a calibrated thermometer.
Minimum application temperature: 380 °F
Maximum heating temperature: 400 °F
Avoid prolonged heating at or above recommended temperatures, as overheating can permanently damage the material.
Application
Once minimum application temperature is reached, the sealant is ready for immediate use. Place material into the crack or prepared reservoir using:
Hand-held pour pot
Wheeled push bander
Wand applicator
Finishing
Squeegee excess material flush with the pavement surface. Avoid excessive over-banding to ensure optimal performance and appearance.Reopening to traffic
Under normal conditions, Super Stretch becomes non-tracking to moving traffic in 30 minutes or less.

Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly can traffic return after application?
Super Stretch is designed to be non-tracking to moving traffic in 30 minutes or less, depending on conditions.
Is this sealant suitable for cold climates?
Yes. Super Stretch is tested for low-temperature flexibility at -20 °F, making it suitable for regions with frequent freeze-thaw cycles.
Why choose a fast-curing sealant?
Fast-curing materials reduce downtime, limit lane closures, and allow crews to complete more work in a single shift.
Can this be used in extremely hot climates?
Super Stretch is minimum for use in extreme high-temperature conditions. In consistently extreme heat, a higher-temperature-rated sealant may be more appropriate.
Can unused material be reheated?
Yes, provided prolonged heating is avoided and maximum temperature limits are not exceeded.
Why Deery Super Stretch Works Across the USA
From Midwest freeze-thaw cycles to busy commercial parking lots, Super Stretch is designed to flex, recover, and seal under real-world conditions. Like a shock absorber for pavement cracks, it absorbs movement instead of transferring stress—helping pavements last longer with fewer reactive repairs.
