B & E Seal Coat Products, Inc is a leading manufacturer of high-quality asphalt Seal Coat, serving the Grand Rapids & Surrounding area. We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Outside/Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team.
This role will be responsible for developing new business, managing existing accounts, and promoting our asphalt products to all local & national clients.
Job Summary:
The Outside/Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating sales leads, building strong customer relationships, and exceeding sales targets.
This position requires a blend of outside field sales and inside sales activities, including cold calling, site visits, product presentations, order processing, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Outside Sales Representative:
- Identify and target potential customers in the asphalt maintenance, paving, line striping, landscaping and related industries.
- Conduct cold calling and in-person visits to prospective clients.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Inside Sales Representative:
- Respond to inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Provide technical product information and support to customers.
- Process sales orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Manage existing customer accounts and identify upselling opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales records and reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in outside/inside sales, preferably in the asphalt industry.
- Strong understanding of asphalt products and applications is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Works well within a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
