B & E Seal Coat Products, Inc is a leading manufacturer of high-quality asphalt Seal Coat, serving the Grand Rapids & Surrounding area. We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Outside/Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team.

This role will be responsible for developing new business, managing existing accounts, and promoting our asphalt products to all local & national clients.

 

Job Summary:

The Outside/Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating sales leads, building strong customer relationships, and exceeding sales targets.

This position requires a blend of outside field sales and inside sales activities, including cold calling, site visits, product presentations, order processing, and customer service.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Outside Sales Representative:
    • Identify and target potential customers in the asphalt maintenance, paving, line striping, landscaping and related industries.
    • Conduct cold calling and in-person visits to prospective clients.
    • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Inside Sales Representative:
    • Respond to inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
    • Provide technical product information and support to customers.
    • Process sales orders and ensure timely delivery.
    • Manage existing customer accounts and identify upselling opportunities.
    • Maintain accurate sales records and reports.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in outside/inside sales, preferably in the asphalt industry.
  • Strong understanding of asphalt products and applications is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Works well within a team environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
