DEERY Repair Mastic is composed of select asphalt grades and/or resins; clean, hard, durable particles of wear- resistant aggregates; synthetic rubber polymers; anti-oxidants; naturally occurring and man-made reinforcing materials. Installation Overview
Heat the mastic in a thermostatically controlled mastic mixer with full-sweep horizontal agitation. Once heated to the recommended temperature, dispense onto the prepared repair area. For deep repairs over 2 inches, add up to 25% by volume of approved ¾ inch aggregate. Level the material to match surrounding pavement, and for enhanced skid resistance, broadcast aggregate chips into the hot mastic and lightly tamp.
