Each 50 lb (22.6 kg) bag will yield approximately 0.5 ft3 (14 L) when properly compacted and will cover an area of approximately 6 ft2 (0.56 m2) when placed at a thickness of 1 in (25 mm). Square cut the vertical sides of the hole to provide for proper confinement of the patch.
